This must be something they've changed since v.25 then? I'm sure I've been able to use the method I described earlier.

After changing the Page Format for Score (and Parts) units to centimeters it doesn't change. I've tried all settings but it "freezes" at inches no matter what unit I choose. I can change things such as page size. I've tried opening a default document but it's still the same.

To remove it, from the Page Layout tool, right click in the first system on that page and pick Delete Page Break.

Try enlarging the text a couple of steps and you will see what I see.

Actually, in 100% view it looks bold but in 90% or less there's a significant difference.

Just for the sake of it, here comes one last picture of my most recent post. Everything in that message looks bold except - as said - when I quote someone. Then I can tell the difference between normal text and bold.
