A bit off topic, but when making text bold there seems to be no difference between this one and normal text unless it's in a quote, which I just noticed above. Is there some way to make the text in a post as thin as normal text in quotes?

Thanks! I think I'm starting to get it now. It's not obvious how to make this just by poking around in the PLD.

One other thing that makes it difficult to just re-enter the notes is that I need the roll to start at a specific point in order for it to end at the first beat. There is.

Holding the cursor over the MIDI tool split-window makes it scroll one measure at a time, while holding the cursor over the score makes it scroll two measures at a time. This is much easier than clicking on the arrows.

The last time I checked the bass drum has only one note. :-) Haha! Yes of course, but still; if Finale gives a note the Out-of-Range Color it suggests that it is interpreted by Finale as an Out-of-Range Note. And thus it should be possible to turn it on or off. It's yellow because no note exists at that position in your percussion layout. Nothing to do with the range check.

I got help to solve it at the Native Instruments forum. I need to use the percent alter, that way I can add velocities "above" 127. In my case, if the Finale velocity is 64 I need to type 242% to make it go up to 127 in the Kontakt Timpani instrument. It can be that I've done some experimenting with...

I just discovered that it only seems to concern the Timpani. At least all string sections play back as expected. Kontakt or Finale issue, that's the question.
