Cool! I have been using Finale for over...well since it was a Mac only product. (I didn't own it then but used it...I bought it as soon as it came out for PC!) and I have never noticed that edit box before!

When I create 1st and 2nd (or more) endings in a piece the ending brackets (1., 2., etc.) do NOT appear in the part...

I write a lot for jazz octet: 3 saxes, 2 brass, 3 rhythm. When I created the ensemble it always gave me a 2 staff piano when I need only one.
