I am having this exact same problem on a Mac (running Monterey). Depending on what my audio input is set as, Finale 27 crashes immediately. Also, Microsoft Teams always shows up as the default audio option which is super annoying. Anyone have a fix for this??

Maybe check the View menu and the type of view (single-page) THAT DID IT! SO WEIRD! Yes, all the measures were visible in the score and when scrolling in the scroll view, but in page view it was not showing up until I changed into a different view (Book-Style Current Page Spread Only) on my version...
