Capo Chords & chord names
I'm trying to notate a guitar part played with the Capo at the third fret. The first chord is Csus2 which looks like Asus2 when capoed at the 3rd fret. First off, I can't find sus2 in the chord names, so I have to create the fretting but then when I go to make/remove capo chords, it won't make the a...

Guitar Bend won't work
There are a few places where I can't get the guitar bend to work. I click on Tools - Smart Shape - Guitar Bend and then I double click on the tab staff note and nothing happens. I've done it before but it's just not doing it now. The grace note on measure 32 is one example. I've tried rebooting but ...

Increase Distance from Notation staff to Tab staff
Hey again!
In the charts I'm writing I'd like to have enough space between the notation and the tab to comfortably fit in chord diagrams. Can I increase that space between the two staves to make that happen?
Thanks!

adding stems to tablature
I thought I knew how to do this but I can't seem to find it in the manual. I want to add stems to my tabs to indicate the time values. Another question in here. I want to show the Fretboard with the chord symbols once, but not every time the chord appears, but when I uncheck Show Fretboards, every i...

Remove Measure Numbers
Hi, I've tried using the Staff tool, double clicking on the staff and then de-selecting the Measure Numbers box, but they stubbornly remain.

Fretboard Chords
I'm trying to put together a chord chart and show different voicings of the same chord or sometimes different inversions but when I show a D/F# for instance the accompanying fretboard will just show a standard open D chord. So I edit it and then later when I want a standard open D the fretboard will...

Re: Indicating Capo at 2nd Fret
Because this is for the whole document Zuill's solution is simplest and seems to work best. I have to say though, that I wasn't able to actually navigate to the Fretboard Instrument Definition dialog box. I looked it up in the manual and the instructions there didn't match up to what I saw in the pr...

"I would create a custom Fretboard Instrument"
I went to Utilities to Change Instrument but there are only the default instruments available. I guess I don't know to create a custom Fretboard Instrument.

Indicating Capo at 2nd Fret
I've got the music in the score and want to convert it to the Tab score and indicate the fret numbers relative to the Capo. So for instance a note on the 4th fret would instead show to be on the 2nd fret.

Re: adjusting the bottom system
Thanks, that worked great to put the system back on the other page, but now I can't adjust the system that I moved up. When I hold alt and drag, it just keeps popping back to near the middle of the page.

convert eighth note flags to beams
Hi,
I'm using simple entry and it's all 8th notes but they all have flags and I want to beam them and can't find out how to change them. It's 12/8 and I'd like to beam them for every 6.

adjusting the bottom system
I'm able to move the top system down, (hold down alt and drag), but when I want to move the bottom system up, it drags a system from the next page underneath. How can I adjust that bottom system up independently of the systems on the following page?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Last Triplet 16th tied to 8th note
It is kind of confusing the way the 3 is placed. It's supposed to be 3 triplet 16ths with the last one tied to an 8th note - equal to one full beat. Here it is updated. Although when translated to the tablature staff Finale seems confused.
