Why does it not allow me to merge all the rest together?

Is there any way to hide the rests from layer one in cue notes? Right now, I'm clicking "H" on each of them...

I was able to hide the cue notes in the score following the Finale instruction. However, the texts are still showing. How do I get rid of them? Thank you!

I was able to add the accent to the drum cue. But in a different measure, it wouldn't show after I added it. Copy paste didn't work either...

I assigned the expression to all the staves. I need them to show in the individual parts while only showing the top one in the score. How should I do it?
In the score, when I right-clicked the expression and unchecked "show," it also disappeared in the parts.

Convert it to mp3. I have my system set to 44.1 khz. To match, the mp3 should also be 44.1 khz. Otherwise, the speed will be off. I haven't tried 48 with 48, but you could also try that. Generally, 44.1 is standard for mp3, AFAIK.

It probably saved your old file, changing the name from .musx to .bakx. If it's not in the same folder as the file you replaced, look in Preferences/Folders, to see where it's putting backup files.

I did the stupidest thing ever today. I named my new file same as the old file. When I was trying to save it, Finale asked me if I'd like to replace the old file and I clicked "yes".
Is there any chance I could get the old file back?

When you looked in the Smart Shape Options window, you saw the slot that said 8va. However, if you click the Select button, what character did you see? If 8, then look for 8va and choose that.
