Re: Speedy Entry '=' too far away in windows

Did anyone ever find a resolution for this issue? Pressing "=" with my RH is a really big jump and an unbelievable PITA when done hundreds of times in one sitting. Is there really no way to keep your RH on the numpad while composing with Finale for Windows?

Heads up to anyone else who might find this topic / struggle,

If you hit Ctrl+Tab, then Enter, there's no need to touch the mouse in dialog boxes. Hallelujah.

Re: Using Metagrid with Finale

A friend taught me this weekend about this. The answer is, using Midi Note On messages with Metagrid, which are translated into any number of key commands/mouse movements/whatever you want in another piece of software. Im using Bome MIDI Translator. Cheers

Re: Ctrl+Enter "OK" shortcut not working on Windows/F26?

Thanks zuill. Ctrl+click for multiple OKs is something, at least.

Really hard to understand how there could be no way to complete a dialog box with the keyboard alone. Very upsetting

Ctrl+Enter "OK" shortcut not working on Windows/F26?

Recently switched over to PC from Mac. I used to press "command + enter" to confirm the "OK" option on any dialog box. Probably used it hundreds of times every sitdown. But it's not working on Windows, I've tried all key modifier combinations, and I've found nothing related on google. Anyone know ho...

The way to set shortcuts on the Mac that you are remembering is Control-Option-Letter, then Control-Letter for the shortcut.

So that is not an option on Windows?

Indeed it is not. I tried every variation of modifiers and letters. They moved it to the Function keys.

Re: Setting keyboard shortcuts for various Tool menus on Windows?

Motet, I totally missed the fact that all the tools are available from the Tool menu with alt+letters. They're even biased towards the left hand...sweet! Only problem I have with alt shortcuts is they sometimes are nonfunctional unless you click on the main screen for window focus. I downloaded TGTo...

Setting keyboard shortcuts for various Tool menus on Windows?

Hi, I used Finale on OS X for many years, and am missing a critical feature as I have migrated to Windows. Before, I could press some combination of keyboard modifiers (control + cmd, maybe?), and then press a key on the middle row of the keyboard (A, S, D, F...etc), then select a Tool via a small p...
