Thank you so much for your reply. I, too, thought about inserting a totally different sound at the point of the harmonic. I will have to play around with your creative suggestions and see what can be accomplished. Again, many thanks!

bar lines continuous on each staff
I am writing a piece for harp, which has two staves, treble and bass. I would like to connect the bar lines so that they go unbroken from one staff to the other. I have done this many times before, but for the life of me, I cannot remember how to do it. Thanks in advance for your help!

Harmonics for playback
One of the important techniques in harp is to play harmonics, indicated often by a small "o" above the note, which I can notate in Finale. What I would like to be able to do is for it to sound properly during playback. Is this possible?

When I place a rit. over a measure, I want to be able to define the length over which the ritard will occur, and the speed of the ritard. I am putting this at the end of a harp piece and want it to start to slow the tempo a few measures before the ending. I want to be able to have it play back prope...

Adjust the playback of fermata
When I change the playback duration (by percentage top and bottom note) it does not affect playback at all, no matter what percentage I use. Can someone explain this to me? Thank you!
