Any way to make window icons darker in v27?
For some reason in Finale 27, the window icons for rests and articulations and such are lighter, whereas in 26 they were just black. Is there any way to change this? Obviously it's a minor thing but it's weird that they changed it and it makes it look like it's at a lower resolution than it was.

Re: Downward rolled chords?
That is indeed an annoying shortcoming with the Shape Designer’s sub-tool Text Tool: You can not Paste a font character into a text block - you have to type the font character. I used the font Engraver Text, and typed a ‘:’ (colon). That keystroke (= colon) gave me a right-pointing arrow. Even with...

Re: Downward rolled chords?
… how did you add the arrow font character to the line? When I click on yours it looks like it's all one object but I don't see an option to add font characters in the smart shape options. No, not in the Smart Shape Options, but rather in the Smart Line Designer. In the Smart Line Designer you can ...

Re: Downward rolled chords?
… Trying to copy and paste it into a separate score isn't working. It works for me: From the Selection Tool, double-click the measure stack, to select it. Now, you can Copy the entire measure stack, and Paste it into another Finale document. The downward arpeggio Custom Line will be copied/pasted w...

Re: Downward rolled chords?
… I'm able to get a longer downward arpeggio so thank you for that but is there any way to change the size of the arrowhead? 3 is too small and 5 is too big … From your description it sounds like you are trying the preset arrowheads. Instead of using one of the preset arrowheads you could create yo...

Re: Downward rolled chords?
… That worked but my only problem now is that I want it to span both staves, but I'm not able to lengthen it … The arrow character comes in 3 lengths (= 3 different font characters). It looks like you are using the longest arrow character. To get a longer arrow than the longest arrow character, ins...

Re: Downward rolled chords?
Only that downward arpeggio should be in that font. Add it as an articulation. The rest of the score should be in whatever music font you have as the default. (That's how it looks to me, anyway...) That worked but my only problem now is that I want it to span both staves, but I'm not able to length...

Re: How do I remove this dotted half note rest in the second voice?
Great, thank you! I ended up removing the dotted half rest but put a quarter rest on beat 3 so you'd know the 16ths come on beat 4

How to install musx font?
I found a musx font file for Kousaku in my Finale files somehow, but I'm not able to load it into my scores. How do I install it?

Any way to thin out accent articulation?
I know this is super picky but I was wondering if I could change the width of the accent articulation, since in Finale it's a little thicker than what I'm used to seeing.

How to make fingering numbers for specific to bass clef?
So I've set up my fingering numbers to be above the staff for treble clef, and would like to make them below the staff for bass. I know I can duplicate articulations but I can't seem to make a version specifically for bass clef. I could just move them manually of course but it'd be nice

Any way to change system brace?
I don't like how the tips of the system braces in Finale are cut off when they're pointed in every other software/score I've seen. Any way to change this? I thought it would change with a different music font

Re: Hiding layer colors when viewing score?
- but that just turns off Layer colors completely...I'm wondering if I can have them visible during playback, but I don't want to see them when I'm looking at the sheet music, after clicking away from the score. MuseScore does this automatically. I guess I could just put in the layers I need with c...

Hiding layer colors when viewing score?
Am I able to turn off layer colors when looking at the score? I think constantly seeing layer 2's color even when I click away from the score is annoying/distracting. I'm fine with it showing during playback but I don't wanna constantly be seeing it.
