Just occurred to me that I could try one insert for the front matter pages only, and start a new insert at page 1 of the music. I’ll try that, and check back in if I still have issues.

Thanks, all, for the offers of help and comments. I have discovered the problem, and it was user-error generated. I’ve got some unexpected work to do, but this time it’s not Finale’s fault.

In opening in v.27 a score created in F2014, and worked on previously in v.25, it appears that all of my manually entered accidentals changes have been lost. Is this to be expected? Is there a way to prevent this in the future? Thanks in advance for any info on this. (Macbook Pro, Monterey)
