so sorry to have to ask this... I am a long time, but very infrequent Finale user... and I have had this issue before many years back, I just can't remember how to resolve it... I am using 2005, and when I opened the program last week all the notation was in odd characters, not the jazz font... how ...

my error, these accidentals are in the MIDDLE of bars, not across barlines... the * gets rid of them... two bars in a row that are otherwise identical will have one with the extra accidental, the next without...

OK, here's another one: when I extracted the parts there is an occasional unnecessary repeated accidental when a note is tied over the barline... how can I 1. eliminate them, and 2. stop it from happening in the first place? 2005...
