re: multiple notes ..

for Peter:
I use speedy entry and simple entry.

New question: How do I reply in Finale Forum without 'pretending' it is a new post? I.e., is there a way I can read your reply and then 'push a button' and get a window that will allow me to reply directly? If so, I can't 'find the button'.

Lyric control

I put lyrics in on one part of a score - sayteh suprano line. Then I copy the lyrics to the tenor line. Is there a way to edit the soprano line lyrics without the same changes being seen in the tenor line? With 'EDIT LYRICS' I get the same changes in both places.

layer note stems

when I view all layers teh note stems are sometimes 'mixed up'. When the note rhythms are the same there is not too much of a problem, but when rhythms differ the note stems are confusing. Is there a way to control note stems indivfidually in a 'show all layers' mode?
