In the Score Manager, set Notation Style to Percussion, then pick a layout from the menu that pops up, or you probably want to create a new one. Best to read up on it in the manual, because it's a bit complex.

If a staff's notation style is set to "Percussion," then you can set up the staff with multiple percussion instruments assigned to the lines and spaces of your choice, and in addition, you can specify what noteheads you want to use for each instrument.

In what window do you do that?

I changed to Maestro percussion font in Staff Attributes (Notehead Font) and it worked.

What do you mean by Percussion layout? How did you get those headnotes?

Can't find these two noteheads in the note shape tool. Any suggestion will be appreciated

Thanks for the suggestion, I checked everything there and didn't find anything dealing with this. Must be something deeper. I also asked Apple community, no response yet

I reinstalled JW plug-ins but Finale doesn't open unless I delete those files.

In more details, here is what worked for me (example of the left scrolling by 1 measure) : • In Keyboard Maestro (Mac only), select the Finale folder • Create a new macro (+) and give it a name • Define a hot key • Create a new action : "Click at Found Image" • Make a screen capture of the left but...

On OSX I use Keyboard Maestro (indispensable) "Click from found image", which clicks the identified go-left bar icon. (sample graphic attached). Offsets the click 65 pixels right for moving right. Thanks for the tip (Mac). It works. I have Keyboard Maestro. Would you please describe how you do it?

In the old forums there are scripts for exactly this. AHK for windows, for OSX I am not sure. I usually did not go much to the Mac side of the forum.

Mostly rehearsal marks position, expressions and articulations positions, etc. How do I unlink things so the changes in parts leave the score unchanged?

My edits in parts also change the score and I don't want that. How do I keep them separate?

Did you quit and restart Finale? Is the plugin you downloaded a 64 bit version?
