I have 2 layers with the same rithmic division, Let's say: 4 quarters in each. How can I convert them to one layer with 2 notes in each quarter?

Hi I added 2 bars to my score, but I would like to keep the bar numbers. So mathematically the measure numbers of the first 2 bars would be -1 and 0. I don't need it to be written, I just want the first number of the second system to remain as before adding the 2 bars. Any idea? Thanks a lot!!! Amit

How can I exchange parts between two staffs? For example, I would like to move the soprano part to the alto, and the alto to the soprano. Generally I do it by using a third staff, or an empty space, but it there an easier way to do it directly, exhanging the two parts?
