I have installed on my Mac (Os 10.11) both kontakt 3 and 5 from Native Instruments. Finale 25 doesn't recognise the existence of either. They simply don't show up anywhere where I would expect them to. Can anyone give me a clue? Thanks in advance.

I have single channel audio when I use digidesign audio output. This is a bug in Finale 2009 and previous versions. I have to use the soundcard output on the mac into the aux of my didesign hardware to get stereo. It could be the same issue, if you are using protools equipment.

Try this: in playback controls, click the little triangle to give more options, find playback options at the bottom, click on that to open the record/playback controls, and check that dynamics and markings is set to "chase from measure 1" I'm on a mac so the windows may have different names in your OS

by the way, i used 2006d with 10.5 for a few months. It wasn't supposed to work, but it did, until one day, when it suddenly didn't and that was the end of that...Nothing could convince it to start up...

so I bought 2008.

suppose you change the name of the file that you're saving the audio as, then that new file name can't be in use by another application...

finale is really a notation programme, not a sound editing programme. If you want very fast violin samples without the attack, my advice would be to use sound editing software...

it would save me time to have the option of placing the imploded music in ANY stave, and not just have the option of placing it in the top staff of the selection, or in a new staff added to the bottom of the score. This is possible when using EXPLODE music, so why not in IMPLODE music also?
