Pitchwheel
Is there a way to set the magnitude of the pitch wheel's values? What I mean by this, is that +/-8192 means that the wheel is at it's furthest position, however is there a way instead of making the wheel at the position alter the notes by a whole step, but an octave? For example, I have a C4 and if ...

Re: Making a Rossini crescendo
Create duplicates of the shape each time you need a modified version. The original will remain intact. Thanks. I hadn't noticed that. Still, on each score I have a few dozens of these signs. Do I have to duplicate it that much? Are you sure there isn't another way of doing this? Cheers. Add regular...

Small Notes for Guitar Bends
Hello, I was wondering how to notate this in Finale: http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/7071/help1ws8.jpg (The small E Natural, A# and D# are the notes that I am concerned about) I know there is a way to "brute force", so to speak, (i.e. create a note graphic and place it next to the note) but is th...

Those ornaments are grace notes, which can be found in the Simple Entry Palette. That is the list of quater, eighth, sixteenth, 32nd, etc. notes buttons. At the bottom there should be an eighth note with a slash through it, and that is the grace note tool, which then you select it, then select the 1...

Complex Tuplet Problems
This question came up before, probably, or maybe it's just me. Finale seems to have a bad time with triplets, especially complex ones, fitting at the END of a measure. It seems to cut off the last note and leave only 3/4 of it's real duration+a really minute, small rest. If I'm putting a quarter not...

Weird Midi Importing Problems EDIT: Example
Hello, I'm a veteran Finale user, but new to the forum. I have numerous MIDI files that I downloaded, and some of them are really weird when I import them. I'm using Finale 2008a [windows], and importing some midis, Finale seems to import about 2100 measures and span the entire midi over those measu...
