Reduce some of the beams

I have a group of 8 32nd notes which are beamed together. I would like to separate it into 2 groups of 4 notes each by removing 2 of the 3 beams between them and keeping the lowest beam. How can I accomplish this? I have version 25.

Re: Extraction Problem

I added the part and edited the name, but the extracted part has only the titles and no staves.

Re: Extraction Problem

Only 3 parts are on the linked parts list.
Is there something I can do to add the 4th part?

Extraction Problem

I have an arrangement with 4 horn parts, but when I attempt to do the extraction of the parts, only 3 parts are available to extract. I've never seen this problem before over the 20+ years I've been using Finale.
I'm using Version 25 on Windows.
Thanks!

Re: Colored notes in score

Thanks for the help, Peter.
All is well, once again.
By the way the G is "out of range" at the intermediate level.

Colored notes in score

I just upgraded to version 25 from 2011 on windows
When I put a G above the bass clef in the trombone part, the notehead is tan.
Please tell me how I can turn off this annoying feature.
Thanks
