Hi folks.

I am currently running on a MacBook Pro; OS Ventura 13.4.1. and Finale 27-3-0-160.


Can I now safely update OS and Finale, without any "crashes" etc as in the past?

I think I used to be able to correct this with "tools". Is there anyway this can now be done for the whole piece of music?

I have been sing FiNALE for at least 25 years......you would think I would remember (I'm now 80 !!!) how to do this !!!

I am always reluctant to update OS until I know other Finale users are happy with it.

Thanks Peter. Printer defaults to Acrobat, but I closed Acrobat, opened file with "Preview" and printed off a copy with all noteheads showing perfectly. Thanks so much for your tip. Doesn't make any difference to loading files though!!

I have been using Finale for 20 years. However when I now save a file the ".musx" does not show.
I'm using Fn. 25 on a MacBookPro. Any ideas.?

Hi again, I sent you the wrong version (one I finalised by another route (I forget now) but look at this one where I was starting the change to bass clef. Again look at Trom 5.

Thanks for your reply. I will try to attach it again. I tried to change Trom 5 to bass clef but a few bars later it reverts to treble clef.Incidentally, I don't appear to have the "select'deselect" box you refer to in my F2014.5
