I have just finished a trio for clarinet, cello, and marimba or vibraphone. When I first started it, I gave it the subtitle "for clarinet, cello, and marimba." Later I decided that a vibraphone would work well, and haven't been able to add that to the subtitle.

How do I disable the autofill with rests function? In earlier versions of Finale, there was an option to enable it, but with the current version it's enabled all the time; can't find option to disable it.

Thank you. I did that, and now it's working fine. Guess I should've thought of that before posting, but I was panicked that I had lost my work.

The score I'm working on is stuck on the initial two pages. The progress bar at the bottom fills the whole area, rather than showing that it's just a fraction of the whole piece. Can't access the following pages. I have recently upgraded to 2014.5.

Using Finale 2010 on a Mac: Tried to show that in the new time signature the "old" quarter note = the "new" eighth note. I used Expression tool >Tempo marks >Create tempo mark. In the box, I typed "q = e" but the Text menu did not show Maestro, so the q and the e didn't turn into notes.
