I have written a solo with piano accompaniment but want to change it to harp accompaniment. How do I change the piano designation to harp?

When two notes are tied, Finale assigns the direction - up or down- of the tie curve. Is there a way to change the direction of the tie itself without changing the direction of the stem for the notes that are being tied?

When adding an accidental to a note in one measure, say a B flat, in the next measure the B reverts back to a natural rather than continuing as a flat. Is there any way to put a natural in parenthesis in the following measure as a reminder?

Other than working in layers, is there any way to change the direction of the stems? For example, change all stems that point down to point up?

Following the instructions for adding a second voice, I go to layer two and am inserting two quarter note rests. (placeholder rests) The instruction say that to hide them I should hit "control" "option" and H. However the rests still print. What am I doing wrong?
