Re: Pizz. affecting all staves

Log into your account at finalemusic.com, and you will be able to file a support ticket. Be aware that they are running at least two weeks behind.

You can certainly still work. Just use the MIDI sounds, while you wait for a better response.

Seems to work with Simple, as well, unless I misunderstand something. Can you post a screenshot? Also, can you tell us how you are creating the triplet?

Re: gaming the system

Gear bailed to start a new venture, and I thought one of the partners took it over. But it may well be some anonymous holding company.

Re: gaming the system

I’m sure that’s a factor, but consider all of the bugs that have gone unfixed even when Apple wasn’t making so many changes.

If I had to point a finger at anything, it would be the Peaksware purchase and the move to Colorado.

Re: gaming the system

I think they’re just trying to get some income. Things are tight right now, and since a developed version costs nothing to “ship” it’s a chance to get something in the coffers.

Also, if you plan on upgrading to Big Sur, I think you will have to go to v.26.

Re: Upgrading question

I'm holding off on updating to Big Sur until 1) Finale confirms full compatibility and 2) Apple releases their first maintenance update.

Of course, if your new computer already has Big Sur loaded, you don't have any choice. Install 26 and let us know how it works!

It's in the Special tools Palette. I believe you can also shift notes in Speedy Entry.

You might want to ask the developers, if no one here knows.

Go to Score Manager and (temporarily) change the instrument to piano. Change it back when you’re done.

Re: soundfonts

I can try, but I’ll be the first to admit that, like Sgt. Schultz, I know nothing. I only use MIDI for playback. But there are enough people on this forum (most of them, actually) that know more than me, and will probably jump in. I would say, go for it. You’ll be quite happy, once you adjust to som...
