Same thing happens when I export from Graphics. Plus, printing to pdf from the print dialog automatically saves it with the part in the file name. Graphics wouldn't do that.

As you can see, I have a percussion part that is not saving correctly as a PDF. This has never happened before. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Right! I don't need to hear the first ending in some sections during playback. I'm not sure how to do what you described.

I'm trying to get finale to skip the first ending on playback to save time and just go to the 2nd ending. I select "skip if ignoring repeats" under the 1st ending edit box but nothing happens. 

Yes that's it! I had tried that earlier but applied it to the wrong layer.

I'm trying to put rhythmic notation in layer one on my drum part but also want to have the rhythm of the horn players on the top line as well. Is there a way to do that?

I have a piece that is in cut time but I want the slash notation to show four beats. Right now it shows as two beats (half notes). Please advise.

I'm having trouble with an audio file that is being loaded into the program. The initial file was a wave file but finale said that it could not import that type of file. I'm not sure why but Finale keeps playing swing 8ths in my drum part even though I marked it as Latin. I've erased all notations of Latin and set HP to none. How can I eliminate the swung 8ths?

I have a trombone part that I need to have play an alternate line the second time in a repeated section. Rather than writing a divisi part that would look messy, I need to only have four bars of a new staff under the original part. Is this possible?

I am using Finale 25 for Mac. During playback, the volume is reduced for a couple of measures in the parts that I added articulations to, i.e. falls. Is there any way to correct this problem? This only happens in human playback. If I select no human playback, no articulations are played.

How do I change the sample rates?

I have loaded an audio file into Finale 25 and the audio is played at a step higher than the original file. I thought that the key signature might have something to do with it but I've tried several different key signatures and nothing changed. Anyone have any advice for this problem?

Yes several times. I'm not sure what's going on with the program. I've also noticed that whenever I add measures, I have to refresh the page for them to show up.

For some reason, the option to undo/redo stopped working. Not sure if I turned it off by accident, if that's possible.

Every time I create a new piece, I have to change the margins to where I want them. Is there a way to change the default for things like page margins so that I don't have to edit them on every new piece? I also have to load the jazz articulation library on every new piece as well. Can that be change...

Are there certain guides or settings that publishers use when formatting extracted parts? What is the best layout for clear, legible parts, i.e. measures per system, systems per page, etc.
