The only plug-in I used was for cautionary accidentals. Certainly that can't be the culprit, can it?

Man, you two are good! The million dollar question, though, is how did just some of those measures have that "break a multi-measure" box checked? I certainly didn't do it.

I've just started formatting the pages on my latest arrangement, and Finale has created a situation where it'll show a 5 bar multi-measure rest preceded by 2 separate single measures of rest. I've tried 'breaking' the 5 measure rest and then attaching it to the two orphan measure, but it comes back ...

I'm writing a big band samba arrangement that I would like to start with the brushes kit, and switch to sticks in the middle. I know how to do key switches for wind instruments, but is it possible to go from one drum kit to another mid-stream?

I was able to locate the NotePerformer32.dll and NotePerformer64.dll files where you described them. However, there were no appropriate .dll files in c:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2\ just Garritan files.

Should I be able to locate those .dll files what do I do with them to activate NotePerformer HP?

Good morning. I tried what you have suggested, but I still get single bowings on every note regardless of their articulation. No pizz. no slurs.

The other problem with those screenshots is that they are taken from a Mac.

I’ve set the Sound Map priority and done the reset, so I’ve followed the basic instructions that way. I hear the sounds, but can’t get the strings to 'slur'. Beautiful sounds, but each note is bowed, so there are none of the melismas that I want to hear.

Thanks for your reply. I'm using the Standard HumanPlayback style and, yes, I am using the playback button and not space bar. Everything in Score Manager is set up correctly. I'm working on an arrangement with strings, and when I copy an excerpt from violin to viola, Finale assumes I want it down an octave. The program also does that when I copy a flugel./tpt. excerpt to trombone. Is there a setting to get Finale to mind it's own business?

Is it possible to switch drum kits mid tune? I'd like to start with brushes and then switch to sticks but I can't seem to find a way to add brushes sounds to my classic drum kit. Is a KS possible here?
