Windows is different than Mac in many ways where Finale is concerned. On a Mac, you can specify all .musx to open in the version you want but you can't specify that all 2014 files open in 2014, 25 files in 25 etc. You can specify that individual files open in specific versions but there's no way to ...

MusScore doesn't export to MusicXML as cleanly as anyone would like. Still it's useful to try and see what happens.

I wouldn't use Photoshop for editing PDFs from Finale. For starters, you'll massively increase the filesize when you save as a bitmap image, and secondly, you've converted your crisp vectors to bitmap. You are not on a Mac. Printing changed in 25.

As you have discovered, both Finale's and Apple's page setup have to match. This is new to 25 and takes some getting used to.

Last time I looked at the Help files, they weren't accurate in this regard and only added to the confusion. I hope that MM gets that fixed.
