Re: latest ARIA player version?
AFAIK, version 2 is Mac only. It was developed to ensure compatibility with the new Apple silicon (M1, M2) processors.
Other than that, Windows and Mac versions should be similar in terms of functionality.

Re: Changing size of individual measure numbers
Instead, for these numbers, you could use an expression in the Rehearsal Marks category. Look for "Measure Number" (automatic sequence). You can adjust its format if needed and place these expressions where you want. They will be separate from the numbers defined in the Measure Number Regions. You m...

You could use the plug-in JW Change -> Note Entries -> Resize. It will resize the flags as well.

1) In the Staff Attributes of the staves (where you want these brackets in the parts), make sure that, under Items to Display, Ending and Text Repeats is checked. 2) In the score, right-click on the left handle under the repeat bracket and select Edit Ending . right-click.jpg Make your choice : ...

Or... in the staff attributes of the staff that needs the 4 slashes, next to Independent Elements, select Time Signature.
When slashes are needed (4 of them), select the region in that staff and change its time signature to 4/4. Apply the slash notation.

Re: org point articulation on rest does not appear
A fermata (= point d'orgue in French) can be applied to a "real rest", not to a default rest (option defined in Staff Attributes : "Display Rests in Empty Measures").

Re: Moving snare drum from layer 2 to layer 1...globally
I understand that you would like the contents of Bar 1 to look like in Bar 2. You want to move just the snare drum to Layer 1 (which is a common practice). I don't see a quick and direct solution at first sight (not even in JW Staff Polyphony, as partial selections are not always possible), maybe so...

Try saving preferences after your output selection is made. (Actually, the preferences should be saved when you quit Finale, but give it a try anyway)...

An update : as we have found out, Chord Kerner 1 has compatibility problems with RGP Lua 0.67, but I noticed that it works fine with RGP Lua 0.66. So a dedicated folder for RGP Lua 0.66 (next to the RGP Lua 0.67 folder) is a solution until the bugs are fixed. The bugs that I have spotted are : • Cho...

Re: Another Garritan No Sound Question
A few ideas : You didn't mention if you selected "Play Finale via Audio Units" in the Midi/Audio menu. Midi/Audio -> Device Setup -> Audio Setup : check your output device. And make sure that the instruments are defined in the Aria Player and that midi channels in the ScoreManager match the midi cha...

Re: Tempo marks disappear in parts...
Top staff of score and top staff of parts should be enough in most cases. 2 boxes to check.
And it should be set like that by default, there was no need to change it.

1) To clarify the concept of Linked Parts...When you generate parts, you get linked parts, which are included in the score file (not in a "folder" somewhere else). You can view them and edit them in the Document menu -> Edit Part -> ... You can print the linked parts (or generate a pdf) from the sco...

Re: diminished 7th chord with a major 7th added
We agree, I follow your logic. dim should in theory mean 3 notes. 4 notes imply dim 7 (as you know, of course ;). My experience is similar to yours : to save time and remain compact, the 7 is often omitted in the suffix, even when 4 notes are used. P.S. : As I mentioned earlier, I personally use CoΔ...
