Re: To put under the same stem notes of different staves

Then nothing changes 2) The second method (Select/press the "/" key of the keyboard) probably works on a desk computer, but on my lapto...

To put under the same stem notes of different staves
Some days ago I asked and Peter gave me this answer:
Selection Tool.
In the Top Staff, select the measure.
Utilities menu > Rebeam > Rebeam to Time Signature…
It worked
I don't know why it doesn't work this time
I appreciate your help

Re: mover tool
I suspect you're just not understanding how to use the Note Mover tool. JW Change will only further confuse you at this point. Follow these instructions carefully: 1) Go to the Note Mover tool. In its menu, select Cross Staff : Image1.png 2) Click on the measure containing the notes you want to mov...

I've just bought Finale 27. I've got ther same problem than before. Trying to copy the image with the mover tool. When I move the first A note to the second staff the first staff remains with the A note. Then I try the second A note as well and A note I moved before disappears. I appreciate your hel...

Re: Lyrics too low
Thank you, miker, I didn'nt know each voice must have a different verse. I was simply cloning because it is a piece of complete homophonie, but I'm going to redo lyrics the way you say. Maybe copying the lyrics from verse 1 to verse 2, ..3...4. And then Lyrics/ Click assignment verse 1 to voice 1, v...

Re: note mover
Hard to say what's going wrong. I don't know what you mean by "E note." If you've turned off "Automatic Update Layout" or "Automatic Music Spacing" in Preferences, they should be ON. Mistake: I wanted to say "A" note "Automatic Update Layout" and "Automatic Music Spacing" in Preferences are ON. Tha...

Thank you, motet,
I did now with only 1 layer, but when I move the second E note the first one disappear,
and also happens that once the A moved to the second staff the A on the first staff continues visible

Re: measure numbers
It worked for me--you probably accidentally deselected everything. Might be easier to delete the measure region and recreate it. No result. Thank you very much, anyway, motet. I think some of my problems come from the double conversion my files undergo: I send them to someone that has Finale printm...
