The Finale demo does not download the Aria engine nor Garritan instruments for Finale. The purchased version does.

Since you have GPO 5, you have to find the Aria engine and call Garritan from there. This is covered in the Help files.

With SmartScore Lite, it is often easier to edit after you have opened it in Finale. I, too, recommend SmartScore X2 Pro. Actually, it's older versions of Finale in newer Mac OS.

Finale 2014.5 and 25 do not have a problem with Human Playback in OS 10.10 or later.
