I don't know how that happened, but go to the Measure tool, select all (Edit menu), then right click on one of the measure number handles and pick Show/Hide Based on Region. That should fix them all.

I'm trying to copy the measure I attached. When I move the firs A from upstairs to downstairs with the Note mover tool it's all right. With the rest of the score I have no problems writing the dash

The the route is:

1) Write "I" in the space between the 2 letters to undertie

2) Select "I" (in either the score, or the Lyrics window)

3) Text menu/Font/Engraver Font Set/Click

Then the route is:

1) Time Signature Tool.
2) Double-click the the pickup measure
3) Set the measure range to: Measure # Through #
4) Set the Number of Beats to 2
5) Now the first measure is a 2/4 measure.

I cannot delete the pick-up
