Yes, playing through MIDI and using Mac and F26. My OS is older than yours (Catalina) but I don't see how that would make a difference.

I get the same result with F27 on a Mac, and it also happens with inversions. Ugh.

If you use the Measure Tool > Measure > Show Measure Spacing Handles does that do what you want?

One way is to use the plug-in "Change to Real Whole Rest" and then you can use Speedy to select the rest and hide it with an H.

In case you didn't figure it out, the second measure is off by an octave. You can select that measure and transpose up an octave and it will look fine.

If I understand your question, you need to use Special Tools > Beam Extension Adjustment Tool and select beam break for 16th and 32nd but not 8th.

If you are talking about the missing fretboard chords, both Cmaj7 and Gmaj7 show up correctly for me using 26 and 27.

Have you tried opening another template or something from the Wizard to see if your problem is specific to one document?

Your 7(-9) also works though it needs 7(b9).

Following what Motet wrote, if you change the page and system margins so p. 2 has the same settings as p. 1 then everything spreads out nicely.

In beat 3 of measure 2 the different note values are clear and they really don't need to be offset. But if you want to move a note you can use Special Tools > Note Position Tools.
