Re: How do I switch audio playback via MIDI off?

Sounds like they're connecting through rewire. Is there a way to turn that off in Logic? Sadly, there' not in Finale.

Re: Using Multiple VEP Instances (> 16 Instruments) In Finale

Re: spitfire BBC core library with Finale?

Does Spitfire provide a host to house multiple instruments on one MIDI channel? VSL's player is also single channel, and they provide such a host at no extra cost.

It also works on any windows system with a multi touch screen and an active pen.

Takes a bit of getting used to, but very enjoyable. It's a composition tool, not an engraving tool. It also has very good playback. There's a Facebook user group where you'll find many examples posted.

Michael, you probably know this, but you can get a USB switch to share one keyboard and mouse between two computers, with one active at a time. Frees up a little desktop.

Re: Use multiple VST samples on the same staff for different articulations?

Each VST instance has 16 channels. You could assign up to 4 to a staff in Finale (4 layers). But remember that Finale limits you to 8 VST instances.
