Please explain how The tool for tuples work. Or in other words How do you know which way to set up the tuples short cut. I need this done in 3.

Oops you got me. I knew when I wrote that it did not sound right but couldn't figure out why.

I just don't get it. All that wasted space. This piece has 197 margins. That occupy two sheets of paper. From margin 9 through 43 the horn plays nothing but the notes for the violin are printed instead. The same thing for 59 through 97 and 141 through 177. With that much space saving s this piece co...

Some of these things knock me for a loop. Just too simple for my mind.

What about the second part. With the whole rest and eighth rest down on the bottom line? And did you noticed how the notes change size after the violin part.

What does this refer to. Cue: 2nd VIN This piece is for 1st Horn. And why do I have whole rest with the 8th note rest showing down on the bottom line.

Thank you That worked just find. If I had study music I would use the speedy way. But I did not. Now at 75 there is no interest in doing so. So I buy sheet music and enter it in Finale. Then change it to my liking. It is a time killer since I retired and I love my music.

I thought that I had figure out how to handle triplets. Then I run into this one. As always any help will do. I enter it in as 3 eights in a quarter space. But won't work.

Yes diamond and x's. Does it make a difference if you use then or can I just use regular notes? do I have to use the x's?

In a percussion staff I see this. (See image) So how do I do this. Also Is it worth while to spend the money to up grade my Garritan Instruments so I can get louder instruments for percussion instruments.

motet it was suppose to read "How do I do it" But some how the word "How" did not make it to the screen.

Does this look better. It took some research to figure out how to turn the notes back around.
