Parts will not playback after articulations are added

I am using Finale 2010 for Mac. After I loaded my articulation libraries and added articulations to instruments in my score, some of the parts are muted for a couple of measures. Is there any way to correct this problem? Not sure if the midi recognizes the articulations or not.

I tried loading my articulation shapes library but that didn't solve the problem. It didn't even duplicate some other articulations so I'm wondering if there was a problem loading the library. I just tried to open another document and the articulations that I'm looking for didn't appear there either...

I am missing some articulations such as falls in my articulations box. Is there a way to get these back?

Thank for sending that! I see that you used "key velocity" instead of controller. Which command is making it silent the first time, "tacet 1st x" or "play from 2nd x"? Also in "play from 2nd x" is see that you set effect value to 64. Why is that? Also, if I want to have the piano enter on the 3rd ti...

Thanks for taking a look at it but unfortunately I'm using Finale 2010. It says that it was unable to open because the file was saved in a later version.

Some of this isn't making sense. I set it to "play only on pass 2" and it plays the first time but not the second. I need it the other way around. I eventually will need other parts entering on the 3rd time only.

How to get parts to tacet 1st and 2nd time on repeated sect

I'm using Finale 2010 and I have some repeated sections that have instruments playing the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th times only. How can I get these instruments to tacet the first few times?

Shake Articulation

I am using 2010 and trying to put in a shake for the trumpets. In earlier versions you could drag the shake to extend the length. Did 2010 take this feature out? How can I extend the length of a shake?

Extracting Parts in 2009

I'm using 2009 on a Mac with the new Snow Leopard operating system. When I extract parts from a big band score, the instrument name is left off the part and it will not put the correct number of measures on each staff like I had selected in the part extraction command box. Is anyone else having this...
