What Buffer Sizes to people have, Mac and Windows?

I'm High Sierra/Latest Finale. Here are my Settings. Same with Mytek Dac, and Built-In Output. Look in Audio/Midi in Utilities Folder. Its in Midi/Audio/Device Set-up/Audio Set-up.
I set it 96 Sampling Rate, and 4096 Buffer.
Select your Source, Internal Speakers, or Dac.

Is the Buffer in Device Set-up set to Max?
4096 is the highest in Mac, needs to be set there for glitch-free Playback.

Hey, Thanks! I also use the Forward Slash, but it puts the suffix next to the chord symbol. I make a different one for each Bass Note I use, and Select as needed from the Chord Menu. Then you can use the usual Edit Suffix tools for exact placement. You may not like having the Suffix next to the Chor...

How about this?
I used the Smart Shape line, positioned it under the top chord symbol,
then added the bottom chord symbol, and repositioned manually.
What are you using Numbers instead of the usual Chord Symbols?

Would you post a File for me/us to look at?

Just a few measures.

I was working on a File the other day, had no trouble inserting notes between other notes or rests.
I use Simple Entry and Mouse, latest Finale Version/Mac.
As long as the measure isn't already full.

I'm on Mac/High Sierra, latest Finale.
When it has happened to me, I just quit and relaunch.
Only happened 3 or 4 times.

Maybe you need to un-check Check For Extra Notes in Simple Entry Prefs.
That would cause problems down the line, tho.

In iTunes there's an option to Convert to Wave, so iTunes should read it. Check the Prefs.

I export Finale as Wav, then mp3, no problems.
Doesn't seem like it should matter, tho.

I wrote one paragraph, and got a message that the File was too big!!!!!!
Start at iTunes Prefs, in the Drop Down Menu.

Choose Custom, and set it to the highest setting.
Then you retrieve them in the iTunes Folder in the Music Folder.
Works and sounds as good as it can, and they are easily e-mailed.

What settings in Aria did you change?
And why?
When I've had dynamics or even tempi that weren't observed, I cleared Midi Data and all was fine again.

I have an intermittent problem on F25.5/Mac, the page in scroll view skips away from the Mouse Cursor sometimes by a large number of Bars. Wired or Wireless Mac Mouse, Settings, made no difference. Why do you want to change the size of individual notes as you go?
That can be changed later after the piece is finished.
Note Size, Page Size can adjusted Globally.

Exactly how sharp is 6 cents sharper?
Quarter Tone? 8th tone? Minor 2nd ?
That kind of Precision might not be that easy to get.
I mean, 6, not 5 or 7?
Maybe a more general "Slide up a Quarter Tone" might be enough detail,
and get the job done.

Maybe un-check "Check For Extra Notes."
