16th/16th rest instead of Stacc 8ths.

Well, I'm Not an Engraver, tho I play one on TV!
I would add a blank page, use Space Systems Evenly to place 3 Staves on Page one, and 3 on the new page 2.
Or Vice-Versa.
That's how we do it on TV.

Hi,
A friend just downloaded F 27 on his Catalina iMac, and it replaced F26.
I thought many Engravers here had multiple versions, depending on what their Clients may have/need.
Is there any way to prevent F 27 from replacing F 26?

Try restarting the Computer.

Under Articulations/Edit/Main,
# is #35,
Natural Symbol is #110.
Flat Symbol is #96.

You appear to have "Check For Extra Notes", in Simple Entry Options, unchecked. The only way I know to eliminate that rest is to delete items until it disappears. Then Check "Check For Extra Notes." They are Gremlins! OK, I see that it is already checked. Seems like it must have been unchecked at so...

The result?

Finale has a very low Output Level.
That's why it has to be turned up so much.
Same with Exported Files.
That's separate from Mixing Levels,
where some Inst are too soft to Balance .
Both need improvement.
I hope Finale 27 will be 24/96, not the 16/96 that it has been.

If you have to jack-up the Flute, make the accompaniment softer. Basic Instrumental Balance. If you can't hear it in Finale, you won't be able to hear it Live. Fixing it in the Mix isn't the way to go. Write it so that it works acoustically. Many Classical Composers have solved the Balance Problem, ...

On Mac, I choose Sample Rate of 96, and exported wav files are 16/96.
I'm surprised that only 44.1 works on Windows.
I wish they made Finale 24/96, tho.
That's a big jump in quality.

Finale does some odd visual things while playing back.
The Score and Parts aren't affected.
It all goes back in place when playback is stopped, as you said.
Nothing to worry about.

If you want an mp3 of Garritan Sounds, export to wav or aiff, open in iTunes, convert to mp3 there.
I don't know why only wav or Midi is available for you.

Are the Chord Symbols below the staff?
The slashes are unequal in spacing.
Try putting in quarter rests before making the slashes.
That will make them all look the same.
Small Chord Symbols can be hard to read on the Parts, especially if the player has to stand while soloing.

I don't see any Dynamic except the SFZ's.
Is it p Sfz, mf Sfz, F?
You should mark it so the Players will know what you want.
