You will have to create a new suffix (Chord Tool, double click on the score-> Select -> Create). Save the library to be able to load it in other files. Before loading the library, delete the existing library to avoid duplicates. You can define the playback of the new chord via Edit -> Set Play. P.S....

My setup :
• Main monitor (score) : Asus 27 ", 2560 x 1440, pivot
• Second monitor (palettes, parts, audio software...) : Asus 24", 1920 x 1200
The combination is fine. 2 monitors is a big bonus, if you can afford it and and have enough desk space.
Less than 1000 € these days (for both).

Is version 3 of Perfect Layout available ? The homepage still mentions 2.6...
There is a submenu for version 3 in the "Features" menu, but the related page says that v.3 is in Beta.

The buttons exist on the Mac, too, but they only make a difference with Shape expressions, not with Text expressions.

Place the 2 lines in different layers and in the Scoremanager, give each layer a different midi channel.

MakeMusic made Finale compatible with Apple Silicon from version 27.2 on (we are now at 27.3).

Finale 26 is compatible with your system. It will be hard to find. Ask MakeMusic and explain your limitation.

Document -> Page Format -> Score, define A3 (portrait I assume) and Scale Page to ... (reduce the percentage).
To see the new values applied, Page Layout Tool -> Redefine Pages -> All Pages.

Assuming that I correctly understand your description of your MacOs, the MakeMusic website specifies that Finale 27 is compatible with MacOx 12.6 (Monterey). It is my configuration, by the way.

My experience is that Finale doesn't memorize the position of palettes (and the playback widow) when working on 2 monitors (Mac).

I have experienced that behaviour and I can still reproduce it (26.3.1. on the Mac) when one wants to apply the Mute button to the first staff (the one that displays the Tempo Mark expression). Same observations (Finale 26). Beams are correct (Simple or Speedy) in new entries.
Rebeam Music fixes the problem in your file, as Grossingink said.
Recreate preferences ?

After properly installing the RGP Lua plug-in into a RGP Lua folder (you named it RPG Lua), you should see it after relaunching Finale, but there is an extra step : launch it, click on Add and then Select File, locate the script and install it.

Cue Notes are usually added with a plug-in (Scoring and Arranging -> Add Cue Notes) and are placed in Layer 4. This window doesn't seem to exist in the Mac version. Bill's suggestion (shift + drag) is the method to use on the Mac.

AFAIK the short answer is no. These numbers are generated by Finale when the expressions are created. You can create an expression using that symbol and place it wherever you want.
The original staff style will still be applicable to other regions, if needed.

Create a metatool which calls the original shape (To create it : Shift+key of choice and select the shape; to apply it, hold down that key and click in the score).
As I said, each time you use the metatool, a copy is created which can be modified in the score.

Make copies of the original shape and modify the copy in the score.
Better : define a metatool for the original shape. Each time it is used, it creates a copy, which you can modify in the score without altering the original.

In your current document :
Lyrics menu -> Lyrics window. In that window, select all (Cmd+A on the Mac, Ctrl+A in Windows).
Text menu : Size.
Do the same thing for all verses, etc.

For the future, modify your template(s) or Default File : Document Options -> Fonts -> Lyrics.

View menu -> Show -> Hidden notes (uncheck it).

You could add the second set of chords on a second line an add an expression "2nd x".
To obtain more chords than beats in a measure, create them in an another measure and drag them into position into the second line of your measure.
