Instead of moving the whole note, move just the note-head, and it will work with auto spacing.

I have problem with some articulations. In the linked parts (but it happened in the score as well) some mordents re-position themselves without my knowledge. I think it is 10th time I clean up the same thing over and over again, since Finale repositions it every time I come back to the same page. So...

You really can't make it into a single multi-measure rest if there are time signature or key changes. Instead, I add a rest-like symbol as an expression. All a matter of taste, of course. Yes! Robert Patterson has a plug-in called "force create" in the multimeasure rest submenu. It will make one mm rest regardless of time changes, key changes, etc. I believe he intended it for just this purpose. I know of no plug-in, but you can easily put everything on one system and apply a staff style to suppress time signatures, barlines, etc. If it's the last movement you could also push all but the first measure onto a new page and just not print it. Is there any plugin to force all measures in one movement to be one large tacet measure?
The problem is that I have numerous time signature changes; but in the part, the performer doesn't need to know all of that. It is the last movement.

I know I can Unlink an expression in the score and than hide it (in the score) in order to get it visible only in the part.
However, I need to edit these directly in the parts. Is there any way to assign an expression ONLY to that part?

I have found what is causing it. I create staff styles to cover different percussion names, clefs and staff lines.
However, I need to change from one to another instrument in the middle of one measure. But they are in conflict, allowing me only one style.

Yes, I use MacBook Pro, and I don't have the full keyboard. The problem is that I want to use as little as possible working with mouse. On PC/Windows I used the backspace key to remove manual adjustments of Articulations, Expressions and slurs.
What is the equivalent on OS X? I can just delete objects with the backspace and I tried all with the combination keys.

Why not having a folder with v25 files or 2014.5 files?
Than select all and get info, and choose to open with one of the versions.

Another approach is to start application itself, than use command O to open documents you work on. That is safer way.

The new TGTools version 3 beta 9 is now on my web site, which fixes the enharmonic respelling with Simplify Rests and other plug-ins that delete entries. It includes some other bug fixes as well. If Expressions are slow to nudge, you could try deleting the unused Expressions, if there are many. Full TG Tools > Text Expression Sorter > Delete Unused Text Expressions N. Do you also experience difference between "speed" of key nudging when use within Smart Shapes, Expressions and Articulations?
I find it annoying. I use keyboard nudging for fine tuning, but Smart shapes go faster than Expressions, depending also of zoom.
