However, I find it slow. I have a very large document. Basically, I wait 20-30 seconds for the switch between/to show current and show all.

Is it possible to select a measure and clear all entries in one layer only (for instance only Layer 4), and to keep all entries in other layers?

Is it possible that editing in a part can be linked to the score? In an opposite direction from "relink to score".
I have done very detailed editing in parts, I want these changes to be copied into the score.

Yes, the staff style "hidden" is applied at the first measure. Therefore maybe only Viola 2 shows this in the Score Manager. That is not so intuitive.

Staff style is used, but not only in this staff, but in other staves as well, however they don't display this "hidden" attribute.

That is also a nice app. I might have it. It does the same thing as my script+ChronoSync.

I have also used that option in my scores. Don't forget that you have to use just ONE smart shape that covers entire instrument (from the beginning to the end of a particular instrument), so that the line will always display (and display correctly)

I don't consider two-hands shortcut as a shortcut.
