I did the same thing only with Photoshop and it worked perfectly its simply copy and paste. It is possible to have not only the backgrounds included with Finale but hundreds of backgrounds from Adobe Stock.
I started doing this when I was trying to design a cool looking cover(s) for my scores.

Your document (score) is already completed? I am not sue there is an easy way to do that in Finale but I am sure it is possible as everything is possible. The trick is figuring out how.

You had many hidden items. Removing empty ones and running file militance ended up with a pretty normal Finale file. You have a big score so it is going to be a bigger file.

Andreo another way which has many options is, you can have separate measure number regions. This way you can have any font size you want along with any placement being able to move independently.

I have always put my Finale Temp folder on my D: drive and I have never had the "save" problem. The Autosave and Backup folders are also residing on the D: drive. A little margin of safety.

What font did you select? Tyr it again only select petrucci font.

I don't use it but it is done by creating expressions and placing them over the relevant measures. You would have to change it in the Expressions tab I suspect. Not the Measures tab.
