I wonder whether if whoever wrote these plug-ins ever revisits them just to make sure they are still working correctly or if they do need updating. Again with the oblivious limited beta testing done by MM this too was probably missed.

Was the error message displayed when you tried to save a document? If so your temp file location was not found or got corrupted or deleted. Finale does not create folders so if you make a special or change it from default you must make the folder yourself first.

Is Speedy entry working for you in 27.4? I know it isn't a well received opinion on this forum if Finale works but, yes, Speedy and 27.4 works as expected. However, MM probably did "mess" with the PDF print tool. I doubt they did mess with the Speedy Entry tool. There is no proof, yet, that what the OP is seeing is 27.4 related. Convicted by coincidence or is it a real problem?

My Speedy works in 27.4 like it always has. I doubt MM messed with the Speedy tool when the basic reason for 27.4 was updating the Mac OS problem. It is really odd that folks are seeing strange issues with 27.4.

I don't have any problem with how Finale handles the sound card and sound.

I don't have any sound issues either if I let Finale be King of the Hill and don't use other sound requiring apps.
