adding staves but not in the entire score

hi
everything is in the title
in fact i want to add 2 staves of 3 measures for the cello and the bass , but for 3 measures.
when i do add staves , then finale will add the staves for all the score , that's not what i want
so i can't do anything
please help

hi there
well i'm a litlle lost here
i want to replace a staff says the staff of the violins for the staff of the english horn
so that the violin staff becomes the english horn staff , is that possible , and how to do it?

i think that the dream of exporting a file from cubase or nuendo and opening it in finale , will never happen

i've been using finale for years , but with w7
now that i'm on w10 it crashes not all the time but often (i have finale 2014

i wanted to know if the last version of finale is much more stable than the 2014's

there is a turn around for that , and ....problem solved :evil:
actually i do the opposite , i fire up finale , and then cubase ,, everything's going fine so far

what i don"'t understand is that ia succeeded the first time with the first measure , the second measure , no way at all , i can't grab anything
maybe it's my version of finale after all..-(2014)

is there a way i can export or save only a selected aerea of my score to midifile?
so anytime i go further with my project then i'll only export what i just wrote and import it in cubase
and so not save the whole score everytime

i've been told that autohotkeys could help me with finale for the shortcuts

for example for the bookmarks (very stupid to go to the view menu and search for the bookmarks)

This works for me: 1) Switch to Staff Tool. Switch to Scroll View. You can always see all staves in Scroll View. i'll quit asking but in the end hiding the staves with the second method works even it's not undoable if works..

that's what it counts after all but finale should work on this in the future i guess

Force Hide Staff/Collapse" is a staff style, it needs a different approach. By the way, when you are in the staff tool, its presence is indicated by a blue line (if "Show Staff Styles" is checked in the Staff menu).
