Hmm. As an estimated guess, I think you might not get it to work. Since you configured the '2nd time only' and it works without NP, but with NP, it screwed up your playback. Try restarting your computer. If that doesn’t fix it, trash the prefs.

If you work with hidden staffs or staff sets, try unhiding all.

But yes, Zuill is right. It helps to upload the file.
