Hi
I notated a really long and really fast woodwind passage in 6/8. Even though they play it as two triplets, nevertheless I was asked by the band to please renovate it so each 6/8 bar now is a quarter beat in 4/4 (so beamed sextuplets).
I have done rebarring music before but I don't know how to get Finale to convert six 8th notes into six 16ths in a beamed sextuplet, over a range of measures.
Help?

For a such task, consider using a plug-in (work smarter, not harder).
Are you familiar with the third party plug-ins by Jari Williamson?
In this particular case the plug-in {JW Meter and Rhythm} could be useful.
Use the option {Compound Meter} > {Compound Meter to Triplet}.
When you have changed to triplets, you need to change the time signature, but I suspect that the time signature change is a minor problem - you will figure it out.
