Play only one stave

I'm new... creating a practice song with solo piano instrument... how do you play only the top treble stave (mute bottom stave)?
Open the Mixer (Window menu), you'll find a mute and solo button. They also are available in the ScoreManager.
(P.S.: I just saw that you posted the same question on the beginners forum, which is more appropriate for this kind of question, as it is not related to the features of the forum itself).
