Is the time interval for what's considered "new" settable? It seems too short. Sometimes I see a posting and come back and want to respond and it's no longer new and I have to hunt for it. I would suggest 24 hours, something like that.

I have never experienced this problem, probably because I always click “View unread posts” rather than “View new posts”.

Me too, but I'm talking about the case where I do that, don't reply, then have second thoughts a little later and want to reply after all. It's no longer an unread post. Or you just read something earlier in the day but can't remember where. Listing everything less than a day old would be handy.
