When inserted in a post, the tags like [quote][/quote] and[url][/url] don't seem to work properly. They appear as such in the message, and do not create the effect intended.
But if you just type an URL without any tags before and after, it becomes an active link, example : http://www.finaleforum.com/forums

Actually, bbcode is on but we had to change the way the URL tag is handled for security reasons. Hackers were using some of the bbcode to steal cookie information so we patched it. It's not quite as nice, but we had no choice.
