Good morning. I am a new PrintMusic user whose primary interest is woodwind arranging. I am having some procedural trouble.

I want to do text editing -- but CANNOT display the text menu per se. Clicking or selecting the TEXT Tool from the Main Menu gives me ONLY a prompt; double-clicking produces only a text-insertion block. But, per se, I cannot display a text MENU.

Any ideas? Thank you, in advance.

The menu is a "pull down" menu.

You won't see the Text menu until you pull it down.

Take a look at the menu bar.
From the left-to-right you have menu titles like "File", "Edit" &c.

Click the menu title "Text" to pull down the Text menu.

Dear Peter: Nice meeting you as it were; thanks for the counsel. Guess it is like the old song lyrics, "... looking for love in all the wrong places ..." It never dawned on me to look at the far RIGHT of the menu bar. Sure enough, just as you instructed, there are all the attributes of TEXT in that eyelid. Appreciate your help! Not sure how I can reciprocate. But, if an occasion arises, I'll try to do or offer something for the forum. Thanks again for the lead.
