Pick-Up Measures

Good morning. I need a little help, please. Topic: pick-up measures.

I am arranging a popular song, 1920's era, that has a broken measure at the end of the verse, in order to create a pick-up measure in the chorus. Each broken measure is half of a "regular" measure. The piece is in cut-time.

I found how to create p/u measures at the beginning of an opus, but not in the middle of the song. Any ideas, please?

You can't, in PrintMusic.

Having said that, you can set up your document for playback, either with the piece written out completely, or with changed time signatures in the "half" measure. There really is no way to fake it for print. Sorry.
