Export to Audio File

Hello,

I have exported a Finale Print file (2009 MAC version) via the Export to Audio File in Finale drop down file tab; the file contains the first movement of a concerto that I am writing.
The intention was to create a sound file such as MP3 or AIFF file for export. The problem is that this action has turned the finale file permanently into an AIFF sound file and now, following many attempts (including VirtualLab file recovery App), I cannot open the original file in Finale Print or any other :? . Any suggestions are appreciated.

Can you post that original file, and let us have a look? You will have to zip or compress it to upload to the forum.

Thanks, I tried to upload a zip (48 MGs!) but to no avail. The original file is 220 MG. Do yo have any possible solutions; and how does one open an AIFF Sound file if its icon is Finale? GS

Without the original document we can only "shoot in the dark".
And your document is too big to attach to this forum.

I suggest that you contact MakeMusic's Tech Support about the issue.

This may be one of those shots in the dark, but the file size seems unduly large for a partial piece. For myself, my most complex, 11 min orchestrated tone poem is well under 1Mb and it runs over 20 pages of 18 staves per page...

Perhaps there is a syserror lurking inside your file?
