PM 2011 ... Windows XPSP3 ...

PM 2011 insists on creating a folder called "Finale Files" in my My Documents folder, with three subfolders: "Backups," "Shortcut to Repertoire," and "Shortcut to Tutorials." In the "Backups" subfolder, PM2011 is storing .BAK files that are created when a file is saved. (This is contrary to PM2011's User Manual, which tells you that "PrintMusic will automatically save a backup copy of your file in the same folder as the original file.")

Is there a way to put this "Finale Files" folder somewhere else? I want to put it in a subfolder of My Documents, not the main folder. If I delete the "Finale Files" folder, PM2011 puts it back automatically. I've looked for an option within the program*, and for a Registry key, but can't find either one. (*Within the program there's a Folders option for Autosaves ... that doesn't do it. )

Any thoughts? Thanks.

FWIW: In Finale, Edit/Program Options/Folders is where I do battle with each upgrade (currently in 2011). I rewrote the path to Backup to a location of my choosing. Note: It has to be a folder that's already been created. If you just enter C:\New Folder\Backup My Stuff, that information will be ignored without an existing target.

Unfortunately, PM2011 doesn't give that option in Edit/Program Options/Folders. It allows selection of the Autosave location, but not the backup location.
