I've entered guitar duets in PM 2007. I pan the first guitar to the left and the second guitar to the right. When I playback in Windows Media Player and pan to the left, I can hear a trace of the second guitar from the right channel. I thought I had solved the problem by turning off reverb but I maybe thinking of a different program because I can't find any reference to effects in PM. Does anyone know how to truly separate left and right channels when generating audio files? Thanks.

My Instrument List settings are as follows: (woodblock used for count-in measure)

Guitar 1
Layer 1 vol=101 pan=0 Guitar 1
Layer 2 vol=101 pan=64 Woodblock
Layer 3 vol=101 pan=0 Guitar 1
Layer 4 vol=101 pan=0 Guitar 1
Chords vol=101 pan=0 Guitar 1
Expression vol=101 pan=0 Guitar 1

Guitar 2
Layer 1 vol=101 pan=127 Guitar 2
Layer 2 vol=101 pan=64 Woodblock
Layer 3 vol=101 pan=127 Guitar 2
Layer 4 vol=101 pan=127 Guitar 2
Chords vol=101 pan=127 Guitar 2
Expression vol=101 pan=127 Guitar 2

P.S. I also tried muting layers 3,4, Chords, Expression but had the same result.
